Blog Refresh!

For those of you that are following me and have reached out and given me kind words on my posts and videos I want to thank you so much for your support and encouragement. Many have reached out to me directly to see when I would add more content, and unfortunately personal and professional events have occupied most of my time.

What Have I Been Up To the Last Year!
On the personal front my wife and I welcomed our first child, a daughter, a little bit over a year ago. I am a very active parent and most of my waking hours not work I prioritized spending time with my daughter.
On the professional front, I moved to a new role within my company and my focus has moved to every day development and took some time for me to ramp into the new process, and even further was made a team lead which added to my responsibilities. I also found some time to co-author a book on Kubernetes Best Practices from O’Reilly Press with Brendan Burns, Lachlan (Lachie) Evenson and David Strebel.

Oh Yeah I forgot to mention!
I have am taking on a new position with Google Cloud starting in Sept. This means that many of my articles will focus on some best practices and cool setups around GKE, Anthos and Application Modernization using Cloud Native principles.
